Basic HTML Tags

Tags are elements that define how content is structured and presented on a web page.

Headings

HTML provides six levels of headings:

<h1>Main Title</h1>
<h2>Subtitle</h2>
<h3>Level 3 Heading</h3>

Paragraphs and Line Breaks

<p>This is a paragraph.</p>
<p>This is another paragraph.<br>With a line break.</p>

Formatted Text

<strong>Bold text</strong>  
<em>Italic text</em>  
<mark>Highlighted text</mark>

Best Practices

  • Use headings in a proper hierarchical order.
  • Avoid overusing <br>; use <p> tags to separate paragraphs instead.

Create an HTML document that includes a main title, two subtitles, and three paragraphs with different text formatting styles.
